1. When is the best time to visit the Hollywood & Highland Center?

The most popular times to visit H&H Center is when an event is going on or during the weekends. To view upcoming events at H&H please visit our event webpage. Any time is really a great time to visit us. We have so much to offer with over 60 retail stores, 9 full-service dining restaurants, the world-renowned Kodak Theatre, the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Chinese 6 Movie Theatres, 3 popular nightclubs, and Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes.

2. Where can I stay if I want to visit Hollywood as well as the H&H Center?

There are multiple hotels located within 1 mile of H&H Center.  Directly next door to the H&H Center is the award winning Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa . Located within the hotel is Hollywood’s first luxury boutique spa known as Spa Luce on the 5th level.  Other neighboring hotels include:  Hollywood Heights, Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and the Best Western Hollywood Hills Hotel.

3. Where do I park when visiting the H&H Center?

H&H Center has a public parking facility with 2 available entrances. One entrance is at the Johnny Grant Way located on Highland Avenue just north of Hollywood Blvd. The 2nd entrance is located on Orange Drive (which parallel’s Highland Avenue on the West side) and is just north of Hollywood Blvd.

4. Where do I get parking validations for the H&H Center?

Numerous stores, restaurants, and eateries throughout H&H Center validate parking with a purchase. The Kodak Theatre and the Grand Ballroom DO NOT validate.

5. How do I get to local tourist sites from the H&H Center?

The Hollywood Visitor Information Center located in the H&H Center can provide you with ALL the information necessary to get you to local tourist sites.  The Hollywood Visitor Information Center is located on level 1 (off Hollywood Blvd.) 323.467.6412.  Additional information can be found on our Tourist Information webpage.

The H&H Center is also a stop on the Metro Red Line subway station which can provide easy access to North Hollywood (Universal City / Studios) as well as Downtown LA. 

6. Is H&H Center family friendly?

H&H Center is definitely a family friendly environment.  H&H Center has numerous stores, restaurants, eateries, and entertainment that are fun for the whole family.  Stores such as Sanrio, Gap / Gap Kids / Gap Baby, Claire’s Boutique, and Skechers provide family friendly ideas and gifts for everyone.

California Pizza Kitchen is always filled with families and great food.  Other eateries that are great for the family include: Cold Stone Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Quiznos, and Nestle Toll House Café.

Bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes, catching a movie at the Chinese 6 Theatres, or taking a tour of the Kodak Theatre is also something that everyone will enjoy. 

7. Is there any nightlife or evening entertainment at the H&H Center?

H&H Center offers 3 nightclub experiences with Level 3 Nightclub, The Highlands Nightclub, and Lucky Strike Lanes.  Restaurants, such as The Grill on Hollywood, Trastevere Ristorante Italiano, Rolling Stone LA, Bo Ho, Hard Rock Cafe, and Koji’s Sushi & Shabu Shabu offer full bar service into the evening with select restaurants hosting Happy Hour specials.  In addition, H&H Center is home to the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre as well as Chinese 6 Theatres for the movie watchers.

Level 3 is a unique and versatile space located on the third level of H&H Center. With a South Beach flare, they offer a 10,000 sqft venue complete with three bars, stage, dance floor, a 25 foot retractable catwalk, full catering and state of the art lighting and sound.

10. What are the parking rates at H&H Center?

Parking rates are $2.00 for up to 2 hours with validation from H&H Center participating shops, restaurants or nightclubs; $2.00 for up to 4 hours with validation from participating cinemas;  $1.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Daily maximum is $10.00. The parking structure is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Kodak Theatre and the Grand Ballroom  DO NOT validate.

11. Do you offer valet parking at H&H Center? If so, how much does it cost?

Yes, valet parking is available on level P2 of the parking structure. It’s properly marked as you enter the structure off of Highland Avenue or Orange Drive. The cost is an additional $6.00 to the regular parking rates.

12. Is the H&H Center open during the following holidays: Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, July 4th?
  • Christmas Day – the center is closed, but some stores may select to remain open. Please call individual stores to determine. The Management Office is closed on Christmas Day.
  • Christmas Eve – stores close early at 7pm.
  • New Year’s Eve – stores close early at 7pm.
  • New Year’s Day – the center is open during normal operating hours. The Management Office is closed.
  • Thanksgiving – the center is closed but some stores may elect to remain open. Please call individual stores to determine. The Management Office is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
  • Day After Thanksgiving Day – the center operates under regular operating hours. The Management Office is closed.
  • Easter – the center observes this holiday and stores may elect to remain open.
  • July 4th – the center is open during normal operating hours.
13. Where to I get a FREE Elephant Card and how does it work?

You can obtain your FREE Elephant Card online or in-person at the H&H Center.  To get your card online click here. Here you can view and print your Elephant Card instantaneously along with the many discounts offered with the Elephant Card.  If you’re at the H&H Center you can also pick up an Elephant Card at our Hollywood Visitor Information Center on level 1 (off Hollywood Blvd.). 

How does it work? – Simply present your Elephant Card to participating H&H Center stores and receive the discount associated with that store.  The list of participating stores and their offers can be found here. 18. If I have a tour bus coming to H&H Center, what are the rules and regulations for dropping off and picking up guests?

All tour busses may drop off or pick up at Orange Court which is located on Orange Drive just north of Hollywood Blvd. The parking of busses is on a first-come, first-served basis when space is available and for not more than one hour. Tour busses may park on the north side of Orange Court and tour vans on the south side. There is no charge or fee to park and no overnight parking allowed. Any special request must be made through the H&H Center Transportation Manager at rrobinson@cimgroup.com. Bus drivers must shut off their engines as soon as possible to keep the noise and emissions to a minimum. All advanced notifications are welcome.

19. Can you provide me with information about the shuttle to the Hollywood Bowl from H&H Center?

Hollywood Bowl Shuttle
H&H Center is one of the Hollywood Bowl's shuttle locations.  The shuttle currently operates out of the Loading Dock on level 2 (corridor next to Lids).  The cost of the shuttle is $4.00 per person with exact change available on-site.  The cost of the shuttle is FREE when you show your Metro Red Line ticket or Metro Bus Pass.

Shuttles depart 2 ½ hours prior to concert time in 15 minute intervals.  The last shuttle departs at concert time.  Shuttles will begin departing the Hollywood Bowl back to H&H Center immediately following the end of the concert.  Buses are wheelchair accessible.

 

Parking at the H&H Center to take the shuttle can be accessed from Highland Avenue or Orange Drive.

22. Is the H&H Center open during Oscar weekend?

On the Saturday of Oscar weekend the H&H Center is open and accessible to the public during normal business hours (10:00am – 10:00pm) with the exception of Kodak Theatre Walk on levels 1 and level 2. 

On Oscar Sunday the H&H Center (including parking) is completely closed to the public and will re-open the Monday after Oscars will normal operating hours (10:00am – 10:00pm).
