WINE.JAZZ.MOONLIGHT

Join Hollywood & Highland Center and KJAZZ 88.1 FM for the 7th annual Wine, Jazz & Moonlight series. Enjoy free concerts by some of the country's top jazz performers every Tuesday from 7 to 9pm in the Central Courtyard on level 2. The event is FREE to the public and a wine tasting donation of $10 to Project Angel Food gets you two glasses of wine and an assortment of gourmet cheeses, crackers and fruit to enjoy during the performance. Seating is limited, so show up early and use your Hollywood & Highland Center Elephant Card to enjoy discounts at retailers and restaurants throughout the Center.

SUPPORT THE ALZHEIMER’S BREAKTHROUGH RIDE

Beginning on July 17, in San Francisco, researchers will join with the Alzheimer’s Association in a cross-country cycling event to raise awareness for the Alzheimer's Breakthrough Act and other legislation to make Alzheimer’s disease a national priority. The ride culminates on Sept. 21, World Alzheimer’s Day, as the cyclists gather to deliver the signatures of those who demand change to Congress. The toughest hill to climb is Capitol Hill, but these researchers can do it with your support. Join us in front of Hollywood & Highland Center on Hollywood Blvd., Thursday, July 22, between 11am and 2pm to meet the riders and sign the petition.

THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE INTERACTIVE DIGITAL DISPLAY AT HOLLYWOOD & HIGHLAND. (Through July 25)

In Window Outdoor has brought the magic of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice to life in an interactive video game set to the theme of the film release. In the interactive augmented reality experience, the technology of the display captures your own body movements whether they be grabbing, throwing or even dancing and transforms your movements into this real life video game for the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. After competing in a variety of motion activated tasks, you will be judged on your score to see if you advance through the different levels of play.
