TIGER WOODS TO PUTT WITH FANS AT HOLLYWOOD & HIGHLAND CENTER

(Tuesday, October 11, 12 noon, Central Courtyard)

Calling all Chevron World Challenge fans! Join us Tuesday, Oct. 11 in your best “Sunday Red” as the Chevron World Challenge takes over Hollywood & Highland Center. Tiger Woods, host and four-time champion, will hold a putting challenge with local fans on a custom-built practice green created by Back 9 Greens. Several lucky fans will win the chance to putt with Tiger. The winner of the putting challenge will receive passes to walk inside the ropes with Tiger on Thursday, December 1 for the first round of the Chevron World Challenge. The Chevron World Challenge Prize Team will also be on hand giving away tickets and other prizes to fans in attendance.

 

To participate, simply come to Hollywood & Highland Center on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from noon – 2:00 p.m. The CWC Prize Team will distribute more than 1000 vouchers to fans in attendance. Several of these vouchers will include Tiger’s Red Ticket. The holder of Tiger’s Red Ticket will be eligible to compete in the putting challenge with Tiger held at Hollywood & Highland Center. Winners must be on hand by 1:00 p.m. to be eligible to compete. The winner of the putting challenge will walk inside the ropes with Tiger during the first round of the Chevron World Challenge on Dec. 1, 2011 at Sherwood Country Club. Runners up will receive a Nintendo Wii Bundle signed by Tiger Woods or VIP tournament tickets.

FREE RADIO DISNEY’S N.B.T. “ON TOUR” CONCERT

(Saturday, October 15, 1:00pm, Central Courtyard)

Radio Disney and Invisalign Teen present the first-ever "N.B.T." (“Next BIG Thing”) concert tour, featuring this year’s artists and Season One winner. Radio Disney AM 1110 Road Crew fun begins at 1:00pm, concert begins at 2:00pm in the Central Courtyard. Following the show will be a special meet & greet by the artists.

 

"N.B.T.," is a daily multiplatform feature that puts the spotlight on aspiring young, undiscovered recording artists and provides them with the chance to showcase their music across national broadcast and online platforms.

KOMIDA – NOW OPEN

Chef Brock Kleweno brings his unique Japanese tacos to Hollywood & Highland Center, beginning October 6th. Komida will open in the space formerly occupied by h.wood on the west end of the Center, just off Orange Drive. Taco creations at Komida will feature corn tortillas with chicken satay, braised short ribs and miso sake black cod, offered with Chef Kleweno’s specialties like ginger pico de gallo, Wasabi guacamole and his signature pickled Shishito peppers. Hours are currently scheduled for Thursdays from 5-9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. to coincide with the Orange Drive Farmers Market. FARMERS MARKET – NEW HOURS

Hollywood & Highland Center has joined forces with renowned Farmers Market expert and organizer, Jennifer McColm. The Orange Drive Farmers Market at Hollywood & Highland Center is open every Saturday, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and features gourmet salts, jewelry, produce and prepackaged and hot food to go. The market is located just north of Hollywood Boulevard on Orange Drive in the Center’s Orange Court “horseshoe”.
